Hi All. I started this exercise program about 3 weeks ago (P90X) I love it and it's a hard workout. However I'm sore almost every day. They sell a recovery drink that is suppose to help with your muscles and the soreness but it's loaded with carbs. I didn't buy it. I was wondering if anyone knew of any recovery drink that is low carb, that will help me with my aches and pains but still help me stay within my carb intake?
Any feedback would be helpful!

Thanks for the continued support.

the soreness is due to lactic acid buildup in the muscle. This should dissipate after a while. I have a Whey protein drink after I workout. Very Low Carb (2gm) and very little sugar. The program you are doing is demanding but rewarding. Keep up the good work
