If you are inactive for too long, (such as while typing a new blog entry,) and your session times out when you press submit you can usually press the Back button on your browser. Your post should still be intact.

Copy it (highlight text, CTRL+C for Windows.) And then log in again and paste it into a new blog enrty. Submit.
