 NEED HELP.....

by JayeElle at Wednesday January 25, 2012, 23:32

[ 2500 ]

I've made the following meals thus far, The Italiana Frittata, The Shrimp Scampi, The Carbonara and Turkey Burgers, Everything has been wonderful, the first week I've dropped 7 lbs. This week, my weight has not moved anymore, in fact I weighed in and I actually gained a pound.

I am obviously doing something wrong and my bowels are not moving as it should. It's almost like my body is rejecting this new way of eating. What can I do I am 320 pounds now 321 and I really want to get this weight off of me please tell me what to do???

I can't believe I'm losing weight and I'm not hungry. I have no cravings because if I want a snack I eat one.

 NEW MEMBER WITH A QUESTION

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. But have been following the Stella plan. I was doing Atkins but got bored with the strictness of the program, and the recipes were not so good. I did Atkins for 2 weeks and Stella now for one week, and I'm happy to say I've lost 9 lbs. But the best part is my blood sugar has dropped from 143 to 110, and I'm thrilled with that.
Question, is anyone else having a problem loading a profile photo? I tried for an hour, trying dif photo's that should have worked and none of them would post? Are they working on that page, or is it me? I hope to meet and chat with other folks that have done well with this. Is there a page with before and after photo's and success stories?
Good luck everyone Maddie

I too have come back to a SSWOL. This is my second completed week and it is gone quite well. This forum has been a huge motivated as well as a great resource for recipes. I am grateful for all the support and look forward to success.

 NEWBIE.....

Hello on Friday of last week. I watched Dr. Oz and saw the Stella family and this resonated in my spirit as something that I can do for rest of my life. I didn't like WW because I didn't like counting points and weighing my food, I don't like counting calories and the 6 week body makeover was just too bland for me. I do not have a creative cooking bone in my body and I easily got bored with chiken and salads every day. My thought process is I never took thought to my calories when I was gaining I don't want to do it when I am losing....This recipe book was great.

I started on Sunday and have lost 7lbs so far. What was sad to see was that today I gained .02 pounds over night. I'm thinking I'm not having regular movements may be the problem. I've incorporated metamucil in my water which is 100oz each day.

I hope that is normal and not a set back. I am truly enjoying the food and everything is truly tasty.

Thanks Stella Family.

Jaye
