It is so difficult for me to stay strong in my lifestyle change when the other members of our household consume so many no-no foods, no matter how hard i try to stay on task i hit a road block...I will go out of my way to buy my acceptable foods and prepare my self fast go to foods. My husband and stepson will stock the kitchen with the no-no "foods" and then eat all my food first, leaving me nothing acceptable to eat. I try to explain how undermining they are being to my health but my pleas go unanswered. what to do, what to do...  |

One day at a time, no white suger,no white flour.No cravings for candy, pastries, it seems that our mind can create either negative or positive in our lives. I find the Stella way Awesome. I am in heaven with this new way of living, learning as much as I can. I would love to hear from other people. |

It was a good grocery shopping today. I went up and down the aisles, even passing the pop corn aisle ( the Indiana Brand is superb, & they have added a chocolate to the smaller bags of popcorn.. I passed on the chocolate dove candy, & nothing turned up in my shopping cart that was not against the Low Carb Program! that is a first time! I always have purchased one package of candy.. I have spent most of the day, researching the recipes on the low carb site of the Stellas. I have to figure out how to navigate the site, so I can input a photo, and familarize myself with exactly how to do this program. I had no idea there was a web site for years now with George Stella.(I used to watch him all the time on the t.v. show.) I have prepared a couple of veggie dishes for use Fri. & Sat. My interesting dishes were fresh fennel, & a simmering cabbage with cream & herbs. I like to try at least a new veggie every couple of weeks. I want to make this an adventure, & it helps to have the correct snacks, always available..  |
